Delivery

Thank you for choosing to purchase your ornamental grasses through Meadowgate Nursery online shop.

From seedling to sale ready grass, we take enormous care of all our products. To ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition, we hand-pick your order from the nursery, wrap and package the plants in newspaper. Your order will be boxed in cardboard – an environmentally friendly approach which also allows your plants to breathe en-route to you. All our boxes are fully recyclable. To protect your ornamental grasses whilst in transit, our experienced team may cut plants back where necessary. This will also make for the healthiest plants when you receive your grasses.

We aim to deliver your ornamental grasses to you within 7-14 days from receipt of your order. Orders of between 1-10 plants are delivered to mainland UK addresses for a flat fee of £10.00.

Please contact us for shipping prices for Scottish Lowlands / Highlands / Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands. Unfortunately, we do not ship items internationally.

PLEASE NOTE: At certain times during the year, it is necessary for us to cut back our grasses prior to dispatch. This is to ensure we can consistently offer competitive delivery prices. Please contact us if you would like more information on how this may affect your order.

Damaged / Incorrect orders

All orders are inspected before they are sent to you and packaged carefully to make sure they reach you in good condition. If you do find any problems with your order once it arrives, please contact us by phone or email within 7 days of receipt of your grasses.

If any of your order has been damaged in transit, or you receive an incorrect item, we will either refund or arrange a replacement. Please contact us to arrange the damaged/incorrect items return. We ask that you send these back to us in their original packaging where possible. We would ask that you take a photo of any damaged plants so that we can see how it arrived with you. The appearance of your grasses is dependent on the time of year. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries relating to this.

Once we have received your return and established the cause of the problem, we will issue you with a refund.

 

Returns

You are able to return unwanted products to us within 28 days of receipt of your order. We ask you contact us within 7 days of your order arriving if you plan on returning any items.

Meadowgate Nursery does not pay the cost of returning items to us. We recommend that you use a postal service with proof of purchase, as the items(s) remain your responsibility until they arrive with us. All items returned to us need to reach us in good condition.
